Viral Yogurt “Cheesecake” Cups

Sometimes the simplest desserts are the most satisfying. This yogurt cheesecake hack is proof, no oven, no mixer, no stress. Just a few everyday ingredients transform into something creamy, comforting, and completely addictive.

The magic is in the layering. Vanilla yogurt gives that soft, cheesecake-like texture, while cookies add crunch and a touch of nostalgia. Press them halfway into the yogurt, grate a little on top for a crumbly finish, and let everything chill in the fridge for a few hours. When you come back, you’ll have a dessert that looks and tastes way fancier than it actually is.

I love making these for quiet afternoons or last-minute guests. They’re small, individual, and endlessly customizable, swap in your favorite cookies, drizzle a little chocolate, or sprinkle some toppings for fun. It’s comfort food meets easy elegance, and somehow it’s become a little ritual in my house.

Give it a try. You only need yogurt, cookies, and a fridge, and the result is creamy, playful, and a little addictive. One cup is never enough.

(no bake, no effort, no pretending this isn’t genius)

INGREDIENTS:

  • Vanilla yogurt (full-fat hits best)

  • Assorted cookies (digestives, Oreos, biscoff, graham crackers — mix it up)

STEPS:

  1. Spoon vanilla yogurt into small serving cups or jars and smooth the top.

  2. Break cookies in half and gently press them into the yogurt so they sit halfway in — like a crust, but lazier (and better).

  3. Using a grater or your hands, finely crumble a cookie over the top to create that cheesecake “dust” layer.

  4. Refrigerate for a few hours to let everything set and soften.

  5. Bon appétit! Grab a spoon and enjoy!
