Smoked Cinnamon Bacon Rolls

Ooey gooey tender cinnamon rolls fully loaded with smoky bacon. The combination of salty and sweet is simply amazing! ever there you eat these for breakfast or dessert, they’ll surely hit the spot. And as an added bonus, the recipe is super easy! I just got my favorite store bought cinnamon rolls, unrolled them and pressed bacon slices into the dough. The bacon wasn’t as crispy as I had liked. So the next time, I tried to cook the bacon first, and that was even better.


  • 12 slices of bacon

  • pre-made cinnamon rolls

  • any icing you like, or cream cheese


  1. Separate dough into rolls.

  2. Unroll rolls.

  3. Cook bacon until crispy.

  4. While bacon is still warm, place 2 slices bacon on top of 1 unrolled roll; roll back up. Repeat to use up rolls and bacon.

  5. Place cinnamon rolls in a greased baking pan. Put the pan in the smoker at 400° for 20 minutes.

  6. Spread with icing; serve warm.

*** Alternatively, you could just roll the raw bacon into the dough. The problem for me was that the bacon did not get crispy enough for me to enjoy it. Pre-cooking the bacon Is the best way, if you enjoy crispy bacon, like me!
