Egg Omelette Donuts

I thought it’s the perfect time to introduce this recipe. Everyone seems to be deep into back to school prepping and new routines. I’m always trying to find fun breakfast ideas for my kids. My son is so busy & on the go that he often skips breakfast during the school year- these egg omelette donuts are absolutely perfect for him! He loves his protein and devours many eggs daily, but I know he won’t have as much time to cook himself breakfast during the mad rush to get to class in time in the morning.

I wanted to make something for breakfast for everyone to eat. So I decided to try something fun with eggs! These egg omelette donuts are a huge hit! You can eat them just like that or put them in an English muffin or bagel! These come out of the oven fluffy and perfectly cooked with much less effort than it take to stand at the hot stove cooking omelettes in a pan.

The variations of egg omelette donuts can be endless. You just start with the eggs and build from there. I recommend trying different cheeses, cooked meats, cooked veggies, etc. Think of the toppings you’d use in an omelette. Try my easy recipe, you’ll love it!

INGREDIENTS (for 6 egg donuts):

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheese of your choice (I used mozzarella)

  • Salt and pepper to take

STEPS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

  2. Spray the donut pan with cooking spray.

  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl, and season with salt & pepper.

  4. Pour the eggs into the donut pan (about 1/2 full)

  5. Add the shredded cheese.
