Mini Brie Pretzel Trees 🌲

A little salty, a little sweet, and completely irresistible. These bite-sized brie “trees” are everything I love about the holidays: simple, beautiful, and meant to be shared. They come together in minutes, but feel like something special — buttery brie topped with delicious flavors, all anchored with a little pretzel stick.

There’s something about these little brie trees that feels like a warm hug. They’re not fancy or fussy — just honest, cozy food that invites people to gather. I love the mix of textures: the creamy brie, the crunch of pistachios and pretzel, the hint of herbs, and that glossy drizzle of honey tying it all together. Serve them as part of a cozy grazing board, maybe with some roasted nuts, pomegranate seeds, and extra pretzels on the side.

Whenever I make these, I’m reminded that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated — in food or in life. It’s the small, intentional touches that turn ordinary moments into memories.

For me, cooking has always been about creating connection in simple ways. These are the kinds of recipes I make after a long day, when I want to bring a little joy to the table without overthinking it. In my home, cooking is more than just feeding—it’s a small ritual of belonging.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 regular-sized round of Brie (8 oz / 240 g)

  • Toppings (choose your favorites):

    • 1/4 cup of pistachios, finely chopped

    • 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary

    • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano

    • 1 teaspoon of everything bagel seasoning

    • Optional: dried cranberries, dried apricots, parsley, cilantro

  • Pretzel sticks (one for each brie wedge)

  • Honey (or olive oil), for drizzling

STEPS:

  1. Prep your toppings: Chop the toppings of your choosing. I enjoy a mix of dried cranberries, apricots, pistachios, rosemary, oregano, and everything bagel seasoning.

  2. Cut the brie: Slice the round of brie in half, then each half into quarters, then each quarter in half so that each half has a side of the rind. You should end up with 16 wedges, each wedge becomes a “tree.”

  3. Insert pretzel sticks: Carefully insert a pretzel stick into the base of each wedge. I like leaving the pretzels whole so the crunch and flavor carry through with each bite.

  4. Coat the wedges: Gently press the top of each brie wedge into your topping mixture, coating evenly.

  5. Arrange & drizzle: Place your “trees” on a serving board and drizzle lightly with honey or olive oil, depending on the flavors you chose.

  6. Serve or chill: Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate for up to an hour before serving.

  7. Bon appétit!
