Hot Cocoa Cheesecake Dip
If you love hot chocolate, you’re going to love this creamy, fluffy Hot Cocoa Cheesecake Dip! It’s rich, chocolatey, and has all the cozy flavours of a mug of hot cocoa in an easy no-bake dessert. This festive dip comes together with just a handful of ingredients.
The best part? I make my own marshmallow fluff using marshmallows and a little maple syrup. A quick trip to the microwave transforms them into a soft, stretchy, fluffy mixture that adds an extra layer of sweetness to this dip. It’s such an easy homemade touch that makes this dessert even more special. Finish it with a dusting of cocoa powder and your favourite hot chocolate toppings for a treat that’s perfect for holiday gatherings, Christmas parties, or a cozy night in.
Whether you’re hosting a holiday get-together, putting together a festive dessert spread, or simply looking for an excuse to indulge your sweet tooth, this Hot Cocoa Cheesecake Dip is a fun addition to the season. The homemade maple marshmallow fluff adds something extra special, while all that chocolatey goodness makes every bite feel like a little taste of the holidays. INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of no-bake cheesecake filling (I use the jello brand, mix milk with the powder)
1 cup of Cool Whip
1 cup of homemade maple marshmallow fluff
1/4 cup of hot cocoa mix
Mini chocolate chips, for topping
Mini marshmallows, for topping
Crushed peppermint, for topping (optional)
Cocoa powder, for dusting (optional)
Homemade Maple Marshmallow Fluff
2 cups of marshmallows
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
Place the marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl and drizzle with maple syrup, tossing to coat.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the marshmallows melt into a smooth, stretchy, fluffy mixture. Let cool slightly before adding to your cheesecake dip.
STEPS:
Make your fluff.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cheesecake filling, Cool Whip, homemade marshmallow fluff, and vanilla bean paste.
Add the hot cocoa mix and gently mix until everything is combined and creamy.
Transfer to a cozy mug and finish with a dusting of cocoa powder, mini chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and crushed peppermint if desired.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve with gingerbread cookies or any cookie, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, or some fruits!
Bon appétit! Enjoy!
