Air Fryer sole fish is healthy, easy and so delicious! I decided to share this quick and easy low carb fish recipe with you because my picky daughter just said: “mommy, don’t give me anything else tonight, I don’t want this yummy taste to leave my mouth”! That was the best compliment, ever. She asked for more, she never asks for more food!
When it comes to this recipe, the possibilities are endless because you can use any spices you want for this air fried sole. You can even use any white fish you like. You could eat it alone, or make it into healthy fish salad. Add fresh lemon wedges to make it fancy as my daughter says!
INGREDIENTS:
12 ounces (340 g) sole filets, you could also use talapia if you prefer (I used 3 small filets)
1/2 of a teaspoon of garlic powder
fresh lemon juice to taste
a dash of fresh cracked black pepper
a sprinkle of salt (to taste)
lemon wedges (optional)
STEPS:
Pre-heat Air Fryer to 184°C/360°F for 5 minutes. While it’s preheating, rinse and pat dry your fish filets. Spray with olive oil and season with garlic powder, lemon, salt and pepper. Repeat this for both sides of your fish.
Spray the bottom of your Air Fryer with olive oil.
Air Fry at 184°C/360°F for about 11 minutes, or until your fish can be easily flaked with a fork. The timing will really depend on the thickness of your filets, the temperature of your fish and your personal preference.
Carefully remove the fish and enjoy! You can squeeze fresh lemon juice on top if you’d like.
Bon appétit!

This recipe sounds absolutely delicious and so simple to make! I love how flexible it is with spices and even different white fish options. The air fryer timing tips are super helpful too. While I usually focus on marine life like Royal Dottyback Fish for Sale, this dish definitely inspires me to cook more fish at home.
