Frozen Yogurt Peanut Butter Pops are such a tasty treat to savour anytime of the year! All you need are 3 simple ingredients to enjoy some yummy, cool and creamy peanut butter froyo dunked in decadent chocolate.
My daughter loves snickers ice cream & my son’s go to is Reese’s and they both thoroughly loved these! Each said it reminded them of their favourite.
These Frozen Yogurt Peanut Butter Pops are so easy, and fun, and will definitely be a hit in your home. You can even elevate them by adding various toppings! Give my recipe a try, you will love this satisfying and semi healthy dessert!
INGREDIENTS:
8 tablespoons of vanilla yogurt (I used activia)
4 tablespoons of peanut butter
250g of milk or dark chocolate (I mixed both)
STEPS:
Line a baking sheet with a silicon baking mat or parchment paper.
Mix the yogourt and peanut butter until smooth.
Spoon the yogurt mixture by the spoonful onto the prepared baking sheet. Use the spoon to try to shape each dollop into a circula, round shape.
Place the popsicle stick in the center of each round. (My daughter likes mini ones, so I added a few smaller dollops and used toothpicks instead of popsicle sticks!)
Place them in the freezer to harden for at least 1 hour.
Melt your broken up milk or dark chocolate bar in a microwave safe bowl at 30 second intervals, each time giving it a quick stir. It should be ready in 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Remove the yogurt pops from the freezer and dip into the melted chocolate, use a spoon to name sure they’re fully covered.
Place them back on lined baking tray and in the freezer to harden again, about an hour (optional: add any toppings you’d like during this time).
Bon appétit! Enjoy!
