Easy Pistachio Cake Recipe

This pistachio cake is incredibly flavorful, super moist, and oh so easy to make! All you need are a few very simple ingredients.

This pistachio cake is as easy as it is tasty. This cake is so good, it's sweet, slightly salty, nutty, and spongy! I don’t even know how to accurately describe the amazing texture of this cake. It’s soft, yet a bit dense, nutty; it honestly feels like it melts in your mouth. It's so easy to make with just a few simple steps.

  • 1 box of white cake mix

  • 1 box of pistachio instant pudding powder

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup of water

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pistachios

  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar (for the topping)

  • 1 teaspoon of flour (for the bottom of the bundt pan)


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Butter and flour a 10" fluted bundt pan.

  2. In a large bowl, add together the cake mix, the instant pudding powder, the eggs, the milk, the water, the vegetable oil, and whisk vigorously for about 2 minutes, until all the ingredients are combined.

  3. Fold in the pistachios.

  4. Pour evenly into the prepared bundt pan.

  5. Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.

  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Once it's cooled, run a butter knife along the edges of the cake to separate it from the pan.

  7. Turn the bundt pan upside, sliding the cake out onto a plate and dust with powdered sugar.

  8. Slice and enjoy! Bon appétit!
