Cookie Pizza

Cookie pizzas are so much fun and a super easy way to use leftover holiday chocolates/candies! How can you go wrong with adding a delicious, giant, cookie to any party or event? The toppings are endless! I forgot to mention the best part; the cream cheese icing/sauce that ties all the flavours together. Give my recipe a try, you will throughly enjoy it!

*For the cookie, or the pizza crust, I used my sugar cookie recipe. Here is the link to my other recipe: https://www.eatingwithhouri.com/post/the-best-sugar-cookies-recipe

INGREDIENTS:

(1 and 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of unsalted butter (softened), 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract)

  • 10 ounces of cream cheese (softened)

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cups of various chocolate bars, cut up

STEPS:

  1. Press the sugar cookie dough as evenly as possible onto a 13 inch round pizza tin (I covered mine with a rubber cookie sheet). Leave about 1 inch from the edge.

  2. Bake the giant cookie in a preheated over at 350F, for 12 minutes. It should be golden. Let it cool.

  3. Mix the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Set aside.

  4. When the cookie is completely cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top. Leave about a half inch from the edges of the crust.

  5. Top with your favourite chocolates/candies (pre-cut).

  6. Cut in pizza shaped wedges.

  7. You can top it all off with some drizzled melted chocolate or hazelnut spread.

  8. Bon appétit!
