2 Ingredient Chocolate Torte


My daughter watched me make this chocolate apple tort and still can’t believe I only used 2 ingredients, and that one of those ingredients was apple. She says it’s either magic or sorcery!


The apple is the hero in this recipe. It adds natural sweetness, texture and heft. Obviously the chocolate plays a key role too. Some say that chocolate makes everything better, do you agree?


Not only is this tort gluten free, it’s also free from dairy and eggs, but contains a great fruit which makes for a treat loaded with nutrients.


This no-bake recipe uses just two simple ingredients to create an incredible dessert. Give my tasty, super easy recipe a try, you’ll love it!





INGREDIENTS:


  • 1 medium or large apple

  • 100g of dark chocolate- I used 15 pieces of my chocolate bar



STEPS:


  1. Peel and chop your apple.

  2. Boil the apple pieces for 10 minutes, until soft.

  3. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over saucepan with two inches of water in on a low heat. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

  4. Drain the apples and add them to the melted chocolate.

  5. Blend the apple and chocolate with a hand blender until smooth.

  6. Add the mixture to little ramekin dishes.

  7. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set, dust with powdered sugar, if you’d like (totally optional).

  8. Enjoy! Bon appétit!
